King Charles reportedly has an unusual bedtime preference that might come as a surprise. Queen Camillas sister, Annabel Elliot, who has been involved in the refurbishment of Balmoral Estate and Royal residences, spilled some Royal beans in a recent publication.
It was disclosed by Annabel that the King opts out of using a duvet, leading Royal commentators Emmy Griffiths and Emily Nash to speculate on his sleeping style.
Discussing the tidbit on A Right Royal Podcast, Royal editor Emily mused: "[Annabel Elliot] did once reveal in an interview that he doesn't like duvets." Co-host Emmy queried this revelation, prompting Emily to surmise: "I'm assuming he's a traditional sheets and blankets kind of guy.", reports the Express.
Emmy responded with some historical context: "That's not traditional.Traditional as in Georgian times.Traditionally they didn't have central heating but I bet he's not kicking up [about that]." Yet Emily noted that King Charles apparently isnt one for "very heated" surroundings, said to prefer cooler temperatures in the Royal abodes.
