King Charles has been updated by UK intelligence services on a significant security issue that ties Prince Andrew to an alleged Chinese spy, according to the Mirror.

British counter-intelligence is investigating how the Duke of York came to trust the now-exiled Chinese figure as his "confidante." This development comes after the said foreign "agent" failed in his attempt to overturn a UK ban imposed for national security reasons, during which time he had grown close to the Prince. This latest security lapse adds to the list of Prince Andrew's controversial associations, including his friendship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

A royal insider told The Mirror: "The King has been briefed about this situation regarding the suspected Chinese spy and is very aware of what has been and what is being done about it." Prince Andrew's most recent scandal surfaced following the revelation that an alleged Chinese operative, referred to as H6, was unsuccessful in appealing against a March 2023 exclusion from the UK, a decision made due to national security concerns, despite having established a rapport with the Duke of York.

Judges were told that H6 had developed a close bond with Prince Andrew, even scoring an invitation to his 2020 birthday bash and being informed he could represent the Royal.
