King Charles seen for first time in days as he steps out with Princess Anne

King Charles was spotted in public for the first time since Christmas Day, accompanied by his sister Princess Anne. The 76 year old monarch and the 74 year old Princess Royal were greeted by well-wishers as they journeyed from Sandringham House to St Mary Magdalene church in Sandringham for the Sunday service.Both royals appeared cheerful, bracing the cold in warm attire, with Charles donning a thick winter coat and tailored trousers.

Princess Anne sported her signature red scarf, a tartan skirt and jacket co-ord, and a beanie hat, accompanied by her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.Queen Camilla was notably absent from the King's side during the morning service.

This marks the first sighting of King Charles since he hosted Christmas alongside Queen Camilla for approximately 45 members of the Royal Family.Prior to today, he was last seen on the walk to church on Christmas Day morning, joined by several royals including his eldest son Prince William, daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, and grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

Other royals participating in the annual Sandringham walkabout on December 25 included Princess Anne, Mike Tindall and Zara Tindall.
