King Charles is set to sit apart from the rest of the Royal Family during the Easter Sunday service, according to reports. The 75-year-old monarch is said to be "very eager" to return to work.

He is set to lead the royals into at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle this weekend in a landmark public appearance following his cancer diagnosis, the Mirror reports.

A number of his royal duties have been cancelled as he continues to receive treatment for the undisclosed form of cancer. Kate, Princess of Wales, who was also recently diagnosed with cancer, will not attend the service. He will also skip hosting lunch afterwards, as is usually the tradition. It will be his first outside appearance since embarking on treatment for cancer nearly two months ago, in what has been described as “gentle steps” towards returning to some of his public duties in summer.
