Kids with life-limiting illnesses enjoy Christmas party thanks to Lanarkshire charity

Lanarkshire kids with life-limiting illnesses had a day to remember thanks to a Wishaw children’s charity. The Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation held its annual Christmas party at Hamilton Park Racecourse and a fun-filled day for all the family was had by all.Santa was on hand at his grotto to hand out presents while ‘unicorns’ Princess and Tinkerbell brought smiles to a lot of faces.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

They were able to write letters to Santa, decorate a Christmas cookie, made their own teddy bear and decorate Christmas baubles.“The kids were able to get some food and enjoy some cupcakes while getting their pictures taken with the princesses and some elves who dropped by.” This was the first Christmas party the charity held at Hamilton Park and families gave the change of venue a massive thumbs-up.
