When Manchester City arrived at the Seoul World Cup Stadium to face Atletico Madrid, the pitch was effectively underwater. A downpour around three hours before kick-off continued until the scheduled kick-off time of 8pm approached (local time), forcing a delay of 30 minutes, which turned into 45 minutes.
After good work from the ground staff in Seoul, City were able to get their final pre-season friendly underway against Diego Simeone's Atletico.
