Manchester City will begin planning how to 'hurt' Sevilla on Monday ahead of the UEFA Super Cup final. That's according to Nathan Ake who says City really want to claim the trophy for the first time in the club's history.
Pep Guardiola's side have earned the right to compete in the Super Cup after they finally got their hands on the Champions League trophy in June by defeating Inter 1-0 to complete a historic treble.
Though the Blues won't be able to claim six trophies in 2023 after losing to Arsenal on penalties in the Community Shield, they can still add new pieces of silverware to the cabinet with the Super Cup and Club World Cup in December.
City will take on Sevilla in Athens after the La Liga outfit repeated their famous party trick of winning the Europa League once again, overcoming Roma in the final.
