Sir Elton Hercules John CH CBE (born Reginald Kenneth Dwight; 25 March 1947) is an English singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. He has worked with lyricist Bernie Taupin since 1967; they have collaborated on more than 30 albums. John has sold more than 300 million records, making him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has more than fifty Top 40 hits, as well as seven consecutive number-one albums in the United States, 58 Billboard Top 40 singles, 27 Top 10 singles, four of which peaked at number two and nine of which reached number one. Kelly Clarkson, Josh Groban, Annie Lennox, CeeLo Green and more during a KTLA telethon helped bring in about $700,000 for Project Angel Food's COVID-19 emergency fund.The “Lead with Love: Project Angel Food Emergency Telethon” program, which aired on KTLA 5 on Saturday night (June 27) from 7 to 9 p.m., raised about $701,000 as of Sunday, according to the project's website, where donations are still welcome."Lead With Love" was hosted by KTLA’s Jessica Holmes with Sheryl Lee Ralph and Eric McCormack and also featured brief appearances by several stars, including Elton John and husband David Furnish, who encouraged viewers to show their support."We have always worked to make sure the most vulnerable people in the world are protected and cared.
