metro.co.ukKeira Knightley has admitted she was so bored while filming one Star Wars scene that she fell asleep. The 34-year-old actress was just 12 when she played the body double for Natalie Portman’s character, Queen Amidala, in 1999’s The Phantom Menace.
And during one take, poor Keira was in the background for such a long time that she literally couldn’t keep her eyes open. Tbf, we can’t even make it through a 90-minute Netflix film so there’s zero judgement here. ‘I remember being in the background for such a long time that I’d actually fallen asleep,’ she told Total Film. ‘I was just sitting in a chair, and I was in the background, but I couldn’t keep my eyes open.
