It might not seem it as first glance, but one headteacher has taken a lighthearted approach to getting his Year 6 pupils back to school.
The children in the final year at Salford's Primrose Hill Primary School are the first to return after the government pushed ahead with its plan to ease lockdown.
Knowing it's an uncertain time for many families, headteacher Lee Ashton turned into an army sergeant for a video shared with pupils ahead of their first day today, Tuesday.
In it, he shows them what changes have been made to the Ordsall school, saying 'the rules we have put in place will help you keep safe'.
