Katherine Ryan has broken her silence for the first time since Russell Brand was accused of rape and sexual assault.The Canadian comedienne, 40, took to the stage on Wednesday night at the RTS Cambridge and referenced the 'elephant in the room', reports MailOnline.
She reportedly later insisted on stage that she was referring to her two-stone weight loss and didn't discuss her former colleague.Brand, 48, was accused of rape, sexual assaults and emotional abuse in a joint investigation led by The Times and Channel 4 Dispatches.
He has publicly denied the allegations. Katherine's appearance comes after reports suggested she appeared to imply Brand was a "sexual predator" in a Louis Theroux documentary.
Brand worked alongside Katherine as a judge for just one season of Comedy Central's Roast Battle, before he exited the show in 2018.
