Kate Middleton looks sombre on solo school run as William remains at Balmoral
ok.co.ukDuchess Kate Middleton has been photographed looking rather sombre in black as she sets off on the afternoon school run to collect her three children from school.
This is the first sighting of the now Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II .
She was photographed driving dressed all in black and wearing sunglasses as she left her home in Windsor. Prince William , now heir apparent, is currently thought to be on his journey home from Balmoral, and is expected to arrive in Windsor later this afternoon, to be reunited with his wife and children.
William, who is expected to now be given the title Prince of Wales, travelled to Balmoral, following the announcement that the Queen had been placed under medical supervision.
