Kate Middleton played a central role  in healing the supposedly troubled relationship between her husband and his dad, it's claimed.

The Duchess of Cambridge was reportedly the royal who helped organised a family portrait of Prince Charles for his 70th birthday in 2018.

The 39-year-old mum-of-three is said to have made sure that three generations of Windsor were there for the big day. Despite William and Harry reportedly enduring a rough patch in their relationship at the time, the Royals are all smiles in the joyous photo.

The Daily Mail reports that Kate was instrumental in making the portrait happen, which sees Prince George and Princess Charlotte beaming and cosying up to their grandparents.
