Kate Garraway 'truly feels for' King Charles over warring sons while grieving for Queen

On September 8, 2022, the world faced a devastating blow when it was announced that the Queen had died at the age of 96. Her record-breaking reign of over 70 years is the longest of any British monarch and the longest verified reign of any female head of state in history.
But when she passed away "peacefully", aged 96, at her beloved Balmoral estate in Scotland, the grief was palpable. This morning, Kate told co-host Ben Shephard: "It has been a very difficult year for the King I feel.
With everything that has happened between William and Harry and the release of Spare and the Netflix documentary, it feels as though it will be hard to come back from that. "I feel for Charles because of his two warring sons, especially all the while grieving over the Queen".
