Kate Garraway taking break from GMB to look after Derek and support kids

mirror.co.ukKate Garraway is stepping back from Good Morning Britain for a break, she has confirmed. The ITV presenter returned to GMB in July for the first time since March, after her husband was struck down with coronavirus.
Derek Draper remains in hospital, with his recovery still not clear due to the damage Covid-19 has caused to his body. GMB viewers have loved having Kate back on the show, but now she will not be returning next week she revealed.
On Friday, she took the moment to thank fans and her ITV family for their support since her return. It's then that she revealed she wanted to spend some time with her kids Darcey and Billy as they prepare to go back to school.
