After he was put in an induced coma, Kate stepped back from work to look after their two children as her husband fought the deadly virus.Derek remains in the hospital recovering from the after-effects of Covid-19.For the first few weeks, Kate didn't report the news, understandably, but she soon returned to warn the public about her personal story.Speaking to Sunday Times Magazine she recalled how it meant money stopped "coming in all of a sudden".
