Kate Garraway has returned to Good Morning Britain today after a being absent for a week. The 53-year-old presenter has had a tough time recently as her husband Derek Draper continues to recover from Covid-19.
He remains in hospital, where he has been since March. Last week, Kate sparked concern among fans when she missed the show but now has explained her absence.
As she returned to the studio this morning alongside Ben Shephard, Kate revealed that the real reason she was absent was due to her children having a coronavirus scare.
Kate told that she has been self-isolating alongside her two children, Billy, 11, and 14-year-old Darcy, after the two kids came into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19.As the morning series.
