But that obviously stopped quite suddenly last March."As she is self-employed, the presenter's income fell substantially when husband Derek - who is also self-employed - was hospitalised.According to the Irish Mirror, Kate, 53, needed time off during the first few weeks when she was supporting their two children amid uncertainty if Derek would even make it - sitting.
