Kate Garraway 'pinning hopes' on Derek Draper trips amid serious health issues
msn.comCovid. ITV Good Morning Britain and I'm A Celebrity star Kate is planning on getting Derek out and about for "short trips". Kate wants Derek to get out with “bursts of fresh air” which could aid his recovery, according to reports.
Fresh pictures this week show Derek, a former Labour Party advisor, being wheeled in a wheelchair by a carer. A family friend said: “Over the last couple of weeks Derek’s been going in and out of hospital for a number of ongoing appointments and tests.
A number of referrals he has been waiting for since his first release from hospital in April 2021 have come through. Derek’s friends and Kate are really hoping he can build on this. ”Kate is also reportedly set to fly across the world with her husband to undergo pioneering treatment.
