Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.
She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.
She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.
Good Morning Britain’s co-host Ranvir Singh has revealed that the real reason she quit her political role on the show was due to exhaustion.
Ranvir had quit her political editor position at the end of 2021 due to it being such an “intense time in politics”, before being promoted to the position of main regular co-host.
She said: “I was at the White House, in Brussels every week for Brexit, there was the Jeremy Corbyn thing with Momentum.Trump was tweeting every day, I was in Helsinki one day, I’d be in Austria the next day.
I had a bit of a burnout." Although she confesses she misses the buzz sometimes, Ranvir said she knew it was time to call it a day: “I loved every second of it, but I thought, ‘I don’t think I can do another winter of it’," she said, adding “I miss that buzz.
