This Morning fans appeared unimpressed as one of its latest segments failed to take them away from reality and instead reminded them of the struggles being faced right here in the UK.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary were at the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (April 3). The programme's usual Friday hosts have taken over This Morning from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for the next two weeks as the duo enjoy their usual Easter break.
Kick-starting their first show of the week, Alison was quick to gush over her co-star after he ran a half marathon in London over the weekend.
And after sharing her pride, it was time for Alison, 48, and Dermot, 49, to crack on with the busy show which included a live, in-studio interview with Succession star Brian Cox as well as all the usual segments from Clodagh McKenna in the kitchen with her cheesy meatballs and mash, while beauty expert Bryony Blake had the alternative Easter gifts ahead of this weekend.
