thesun.co.ukKATE Beckinsale called the police after an encounter with a stalker at her Brentwood home, it has been reported. Multiple police officers were seen outside of the 46-year-old star's US property on Saturday, searching an orange backpack outside of her abode.
Authorities wore face masks as they searched the bag with gloved hands, also checking one person at the scene during the visit.
All searches took place in Kate's front garden, but the brunette beauty was not seen. The Sun Online have contacted the star's rep for comment.
Kate has had several terrifying encounters with stalkers over the years, including having to postpone an appearance at Comic Con in 2017 because a fan was arrested while waiting to meet her.
