This Morning's royal correspondent Camilla Tominey has revealed Kate Middleton and Prince William's children; Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis got involved in events at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee at the "last minute".The British broadcaster explained how the children's involvement was only decided "last minute" with the Cambridges worried that one of their youngsters may have a "wobbly"– but they "loved every second".

It was a similar last minute decision ahead of the family's visit to Cardiff Castle on Saturday 4 June. But Camilla told This Morning's Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby that a decision to involve the children came because of how much they were enjoying the celebrations.

She said: "My understanding from Kensington Palace was that they did take last minute decisions on the children being both in Cardiff, when George and Charlotte carried out their first official engagement, and at the party. "Just on the basis that kids can throw wobblies five minutes before appearing in such a high profile event and the message that was given to me yesterday was they were there because they were loving every second of it." Regular guest on the show, Gyles Brandreth, added: "It was brilliantly British, that's what I loved about yesterday, it was bonkers at times. "I mean you had all the military parading and then we had ludicrous buses coming by with these iconic figures." Hosts Phillip and Holly have only just returned from a short break in which presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary took over in their absence.
