Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Kamala Harris said that she has agreed to debate Donald Trump on September 10. In May, the campaigns of Trump and President Joe Biden had accepted ABC News’ invite to debate on that date, in what would have been their second match up after the CNN event on June 27.
Harris told reporters today, “You have been asking me about the debate and I’ll tell you I’m ready to debate Donald Trump. I have agreed to the previously agreed upon September 10 debate.
He agreed to that previously. Now, here he appears to be backpedaling, but I’m ready, and I think the voters deserve to see the split screen that exists in this race on a debate stage, and so I’m ready.
Let’s go.” There has been no official word on whether Trump will still accept that date. He has lately said that he would debate Harris, but wants to do so at a Fox News hosted event.
