The Serie A star contracted COVID-19 last Saturday along with his girlfriend. And he shared the news with a lengthy post on Instagram while the pair smiled for the camera.
Four days later, the Argentine has given another update on his condition from quarantine. “We are fine,” he wrote in Spanish while making an OK sign to the camera.
The post earned more than 1.5m likes within an hour of being published on Wednesday night. And fans were quick to pass on their messages of relief. “Get well, champ,” one said.
