A mum has spoken of the moment she found her dying son after her ex-partner allegedly stabbed him. Kataryzna Bastek had previously been in a relationship with Suleman Altaf.
After it had broken down in 2015, he allegedly went to her home in Miles Platting in June last year and attacked her with a knife.

Join our FREE Manchester Crime and Court WhatsApp group by clicking here Mr Altaf, 45, is standing trial at Manchester Crown Court accused of the murder of Jakub, the attempted murder of his mum, Ms Bastek, and possession of a knife.
He denies all three offences. The jury was previously told that Jakub came to his mother's 'aid', but was stabbed in the neck by Mr Altaf at the family home on Bednal Avenue.
