Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has suffered a serious muscle injury but Jurgen Klopp has claimed that it is not "season-ending" as they battle Manchester City and Arsenal in the Premier League.
The Anfield club will be without their Brazilian shot-stopper for the visit of the Blues this month after he suffered a muscle problem ahead of their clash with Brentford.
Alisson was forced off late on in the reverse fixture with City at the Etihad Stadium in November with a hamstring injury but missed just three matches.
Liverpool sit one-point clear at the top of the Premier League ahead of this weekend's round of fixtures. Klopp's side take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday before City take on rivals Manchester United, while Arsenal travel to Sheffield United.
