The duo made their debut on the ITV show on Monday.Telly favourite Josie was once tipped to take over the role following Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's shock exit from the programme.
However Josie missed out on the full-time slot, which a source claims has left her feeling 'hurt.' The TV source told OK! that Alison Hammond was also offered a full-time role instead of Josie but chose to 'turn it down' due to 'not wanting the responsibility.' "Alison was given the This Morning job to do it full time; she was actually the one who didn't want it," the source told the publication adding that she "loves her time on the show but she doesn't want the responsibility of being the main anchor.""Alison likes to have multiple things going on and is already in huge demand elsewhere - with Love of Dogs and Bake Off - that takes up a lot of her time.
She isn't worried about being overshadowed; she's happy with being a part of the show for one day."
