WASHINGTON D. C. – Joseph R. Biden Jr was inaugurated as the 46th president of the United States Wednesday, just hours after his predecessor Donald J.
Trump, left Washington flying to his private club in Florida ending one of the most divisive chapters and presidencies in American history.
Before taking his oath on the U. S. Capitol’s West Front, Biden and the guests in attendance were witness to a seminal moment in the nation’s history as Kamala Harris, formerly a U.S.
senator from California, was sworn in as the first woman, person of color and South Asian American to become vice president.
