The TV star was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in 2020 but only revealed his condition publicly in late 2022, telling fans he "didn't know" how long he had left.
Doctors had initially given the star just six months but more than three years on he is still fighting, and has shared the details of his gruelling battle and how it took a devastating toll on his body, leaving him in constant pain and a shell of his former self.
He recalled looking in the mirror and feeling "shocked" at the way he looked, which left him feeling "disgusting". He told the Sun: "Lying in the hospice, I thought I'd had it.
