One of the real singers behind Grammy Award winning duo Milli Vanilli has died after a battle with coronavirus. John Davies, who has passed away aged 66, gave his voice to the duo for their first album Girl You Know It's True, which spawned the platinum-selling single of the same name.

Fabrice Morvan and Rob Pilatus fronted the band, lip syncing to the voices of John and other session musicians Charles Shaw, Brad Howell, Jodie Rocco and Linda Rocco.
