Joe Swash has swiftly reassured his followers after being caught up in a terrifying road accident.The TV fave and former EastEnders star was horrified when his car got smashed by a lorry on the motorway.Taking to Instagram, the 42 year old shared clips of his damaged vehicle to show fans the aftermath of the terrifying crash.

Initially, he told fans, "I got hit by a lorry! ! ! Done the side of my car. F**k." Joe has now issued further updates to his Instagram followers and proved he really is okay following the horror crash.The actor is currently taking part in panto season and is getting ready for performances in Bedfordshire.

He is taking on a role in a production of Beauty and the Beast and quickly moved to show his rehearsals, reports the Mirror.

Looking dapper in his suit, the actor reassured fans that he was doing well. After giving a sneak peek of his dressing room, he shared a picture of the arena's festive Christmas tree.
