Jimmy Thelin has insisted Bojan Miovski was desperate to fire Aberdeen to winning ways in the Premiership.The North Macedonian international was the subject of a failed bid from Espanyol.
However, the Dons star came back in for his first start and helped the men from the Granite City to a 2-1 win at St Johnstone.
Thelin said: “He has been ready all the time but we have tried to prepare the whole team. Ester and Pete have done well but I know what Bojan can do.
He has been sharp in training and really focused and there is a lot of positive energy in the pitch and the locker room.“He showed he is here and wants to do well at Aberdeen.
