Jeremy Clarkson has told of his doubts over Chief Medical Officer for England Chris Whitty’s coronavirus science, and suggested that the UK is ‘paralysed’ in its response to the pandemic.The Grand Tour star aired his feelings about the government’s coronavirus guidelines in a piece for The Times, in which he suggested that forcing people to stay indoors has made Whitty the ‘most powerful man in the country’ as well as ‘the most dangerous’.Boris Johnson’s new rule of banning groups of more than six people from meeting up came into action today, with it not including offices and schools.

Clarkson wrote that he thinks the guidelines being constantly changed are partly due to Johnson wanting businesses and town centres to be filled with people,.
