Jay Slater's mum has had his favourite clothes made into cushions following his tragic death in Tenerife. The 19-year-old from Oswaldtwistle, Lancashire, was found dead after disappearing on the Spanish island in June last year.
His remains were found near the village of Masca and he was found to have died after sustaining multiple injuries consistent with a fall in a rocky area.
Jay's mum Debbie Duncan went to Tenerife with other family members to help in what became a very high-profile search operation.
His funeral was held for him in Accrington in August with around 500 people attending the service. In a touching memento, it was revealed that cushions have been made using his favourite clothes, the Mirror reports.
