Jamie Laing will take on a week-long ultra marathon challenge in aid of Red Nose Day this year. The radio presenter and former Made In Chelsea star will take on this year’s Radio 1 Red Nose Day Challenge which will see him run from London to Salford during the week of the fundraising event.

His Ultra Marathon Man feat will see him run five ultra-marathons in five days - taking in more than 150 miles - just in time to make it to Salford for the 40th birthday celebrations of Comic Relief, which will be broadcast live on BBC One on Friday, March 21.

Following in the footsteps of Vernon Kay, Mollie King and Paddy McGuinness, who have all recently accomplished charity missions for both Red Nose Day and Children In Need, the challenge has been hailed as Jamie’s ‘greatest physical and psychological challenge yet’.

Jamie will take in cities, towns and villages along the way and will also be supported by friends, family and colleagues as he gets closer to the finish line.
