Jamie Laing had to cancel his scheduled appearance on ITV's Lorraine this morning due to unexpected setbacks as he approached the end of his Ultra Marathon.
Jamie has been powering through a run from London to Salford in support of Comic Relief, aiming to chat with Christine Lampard on Lorraine upon reaching the finish line.
However, this morning Christine shared with viewers: "Jamie was supposed to be speaking to us but there are various issues going on right now." Adding more detail, Lucie Cave said: "We were hoping to speak to him at the end but he hasn't quite made it yet.
He's been in real pain, very emotional and overwhelmed. He's done an amazing job and he's raised £1m so far. He'll be so pleased with that." Christine jumped in to praise Jamie's efforts over the gruelling run. "He's doing an incredible job and he's so nearly at the end," she remarked.
