Antonia Hylton and Elise Jordan will join Ayman Mohyeldin and Catherine Rampell as hosts of MSNBC‘s upcoming The Weekend: Primetime, to debut in early May.
The show is an extension of the network’s weekend morning show. The nighttime edition will air from 6 p.m. ET to 9 p.m. ET on Saturdays and Sundays.
Jordan is an MSNBC and NBC News political analyst, and Hylton is an NBC News and MSNBC correspondent. MSNBC also is expanding the morning edition of The Weekend to three hours, from 7 a.m.
to 10 a.m. ET. Jonathan Capehart, Eugene Daniels and Jackie Alemany will host. The current morning team — Symone Sanders Townsend, Michael Steele and Alicia Menendez — are moving to the 7 p.m.
