Jamie Foxx and producing partner Datari Turner are focusing their TV efforts at ViacomCBS. The duo have inked a new deal at MTV Entertainment Group, where they'll develop and executive produce original movies across the portfolio with a focus on BIPOC filmmakers. “Jamie Foxx and Datari Turner are creative forces whose talent is boundless,” said MTV Entertainment Group EVP and head of talent and content development Trevor Rose. "Together, we share a vision of cultivating emerging BIPOC filmmakers and telling multicultural stories that will make an impact.” Their deal comes just a month into ViacomCBS refining its streaming approach with the launch of Paramount+.
