This Morning viewers have slammed the show over airing an interview with a man while he's on his compost toilet. Many took to Twitter to react to the guest's interesting choice of location during today's (May 31) episode, with some branding the segment a "new low" for the ITV programme.
It comes just days after Phillip Schofield stepped down from his hosting duties after 20 years of presenting the show. His last day on This Morning was on May 18, with news of his exit emerging on May 20 - followed by him confessing to have had an "unwise, but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague.
Since Phil's departure, with Holly Willoughby away on an extended half-term break, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have been fronting the show.
As the duo fronted the programme for today's instalment, some viewers were left grabbing their TV remote to 'press mute' as they spoke to guest Robin Greenfield, 36, via live video feed - which looked as if he was sitting on a toilet.
