TV chef Clodagh McKenna found herself having to apologise to viewers following a cheeky slip of the tongue on This Morning. Joining the show once again on Monday (February 17), Clodagh set out to demonstrate how to prepare a potato Frittart, skilfully keeping the This Morning kitchen under control as she shared her recipe.
However, as Clodagh bantered with hosts Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, her language took on an unexpectedly saucy tone that caused some blushes.
In response to Alison's query about whether the dish was similar to a quiche, Clodagh quipped, "After a few drinks, it would be a freaking tart!" The joke sparked laughter from Alison but left Dermot looking somewhat uncomfortable.
Realising her faux pas, Clodagh exclaimed, "Oh, I shouldn't have said that, should I?" Dermot coolly acknowledged the moment, commenting, "Oh, I mean you're borderline." Clodagh hastily apologised: "Sorry, I'm really sorry if I offended anybody." But quick to ease the situation, Dermot reassured her, advising "don't worry" before guiding the segment forward.
