Former Labour politician Ed Balls and presenter Charlotte Hawkins were back at the helm of the TV programme bringing viewers the latest headlines.
Charlotte Hawkins is currently stepping in for Susanna Reid after she announced she was taking a break from the show earlier this month.
The 51-year-old broadcaster revealed viewers would be left in the capable hands of "a wonderful team over the summer" whilst she took her annual holiday.
