Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

ITV Good Morning Britain star announces 'retirement' as he takes lengthy break from show

The 54 year old telly favourite has been a staple on the ITV morning programme for years, dishing out the latest entertainment gossip.

However, Richard Arnold quipped that he was "retiring" while announcing his extended break from the show. Despite his temporary departure, Richard did let slip that he'll be back in action for the Pride of Britain awards, which typically takes place towards the end of October.

After giving presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls the lowdown on Big Brother during Tuesday morning's episode, Susanna reminded viewers to tune in for more updates from the house tomorrow.

However, realising Richard wouldn't be there, she quickly corrected herself, saying: "And if you can't watch it, don't miss Richard tomorrow morning at this time." Richard responded: "I'm on leave." A surprised Susanna exclaimed, "Oh no," followed by an awkward silence among the trio, reports the Mirror.The showbiz reporter then declared: "I'm retiring from public life, until the 21st, I'll be back for Pride of Britain! " He then gave fans a glimpse into his plans for his time off.
