Good Morning Britain has been inundated with 700 complaints from disgruntled viewers who took issue with the nature of an interview with Nigel Farage.
The episode of the ITV breakfast show, which aired on October 2, culminated in Susanna Reid engaging in a heated debate with Farage live on air, sparking backlash from fans.
During that broadcast, presenter Susanna found herself under scrutiny after she invited the Reform leader onto the programme to share his views about the Conservatives and immigration, while asserting that he was the man responsible for "getting Brexit done." Throughout the show, Susanna appeared to interrupt the politician multiple times as she reminded the Clacton MP that it was a Conservative government that initiated the Brexit referendum and ultimately brought about Brexit.
The GMB host vented: "It was a Conservative government that got Brexit done, so you're very critical of the government that actually did what you have been campaigning for your entire life.", reports the Daily Record.
