ITV Emmerdale legend 'to return' 39 years after exit to 'bring down' Caleb Miligan

Emmerdale's Caleb Miligan, portrayed by William Ash, is set for a surprise, according to soap fans who think they've cracked the code on the return of a legendary character.

Caleb has had a turbulent time recently following the murder of Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), committed by his daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly).Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) initially thought he was to blame for the death after assaulting Anthony due to his own history of abuse, but the truth eventually surfaced.

Alongside John (Oliver Farnworth) and Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Aaron pledged to keep the murder under wraps.However, Caleb's loyalty to his family seems to have vanished after learning about his brother Cain's (Jeff Hordley) affair with Ruby.

In response, Caleb attempted to frame Cain by planting Anthony's missing tooth in his car, but the police found nothing.It emerged that Aaron had been watching Caleb and retrieved the tooth from Cain's car, later confronting Caleb for answers.
