manchestereveningnews.co.ukEmmerdale fans are certain that Laurel will be the next character to "exit" the Dales after her shock confession of murder on Thursday night's episode (January 30).
Laurel Thomas (also formerly Potts and Dingle), joined the ITV soap in 2002, and she's been involved in some major storylines since becoming a regular in the village.
In 2008, Laurel found her son Daniel dead after he was found in his cot. While being consumed with grief, it transpired that Laurel's biological baby is still alive as he was accidentally swapped at birth in the hospital.
In more recent years, Laurel battled with alcoholism which caused her to lose her job in the factory as she was struggling to cope.
