This week, the soap aired a special episode detailing her experiences since leaving the Dales.After being collected by an unseen driver, she found herself in Leeds city centre.
She soon befriended a group of homeless people including Dylan (Fred Kettle) and Becca (Becca Ashton), who welcomed April into their makeshift home in an abandoned building.The episode revealed the hardships April, who was pregnant, faced while living on the streets, including witnessing Becca's stabbing after she pursued a thief who stole their money.
