"If you look at the packaging that is on the market still, there are names like Johnnie Big Boy or Trojan," said Farah. "It’s just not a good look – and I think even men don’t want to be buying products like that anymore."The pair were childhood friends, and they also headed off to university together.

Sarah studied medicine – and went on to become a gynaecology doctor – whereas Farah moved into the world of finance.Farah added: "I was working in investment banking, and at the time, I couldn’t use hormonal contraceptives.
