Ayrshire Grandad James (Jimmy) Keohone climbed Ben Lomond earlier this year after wanting to check it off of his bucket list for quite some time.The 'inspirational' 82-year from Onthank, Kilmarnock braved the 974m ascent to the summit with his daughters Karen, Donna, Debbie, and Mandy alongside his sons-in-law, grandkids and dogs on Sunday, April 25.Proud son-in-law Craig Shearin, husband to Karen, said: "Jimmy is fit as a fiddle and I think we all wish we could be more like him; he really is inspirational."We had a great day for it, the weather was dry, sunny and had a wee breeze."Jimmy was in great spirits with no complaints and it was just good to be lead by him to the summit."The Ayrshire Live app is available to download now.Get all.
