A hotel made entirely from 40,000 tons of ice and snow sounds like something out of Frozen, but unlike Elsa’s castle this is very much a real place for holidaymakers.

We’re talking 21 themed rooms and suites with icy artwork, a bar, a ‘Nordic relaxation area’ with hot tubs and a sauna under the stars, and even an ice chapel for those who want to get married in the snowy setting.

The Hôtel de Glace can be found in the Valcartier resort in Quebec, Canada, and although we know a trip isn't on the cards for Brits right now, we've got a sneak peek at the suites and icy sculptures of both last year's hotel and the 2021 offering.
